Did You Know

01/15/2004-- Members of Saint Ignatius of Loyola Council #11815 of the Knights of Columbus are working at "Building a Better World" by volunteering their time and raising money for a wide variety of programs and activities that are serving the church, the community and those in need here in Frederick County.  In 2003 the Knights of Saint Ignatius of Loyola Council provided 15, 500 hours of volunteer service and $9000 in cash donations.  For example, in 2003 just a few of the council's efforts included:

  • Tootsie Roll drive to help the mentally handicapped raised over $2000.
  • Donated a new computer to Saint Ignatius Church.
  • Sponsoring Three seminarians.
  • Supporting a toys for children program at Christmas ...
